Welcome to my Marfan Syndrome support group for kids.
Hi - my name is Conner Bonney. I am 11 years old and I have Marfan Syndrome. I was diagnosed at the age of 10.
My sister Alanah also has Marfan Syndrome; she is 10 and was diagnosed at the same time as me. My dad also has Marfan Syndrome, and so does my Granddad.
I told my parents that for Christmas (2008) I wanted a Marfan website for kids. And here it is!!!!!
I want this to be a place where kids can come and chat, make friends, share thoughts, ideas, hopes, worries, concerns - you get the idea. I want us to be a support system for each other. I want kids with Marfan Syndrome to know that they are not alone and there are thousands of other kids going through the same thing. We all have one thing in common - Marfan Syndrome. Lets have something else in common, being friends!
